The signature twisted geometry of these sculptural towers created unprecedented challenges for the curtain wall system. No two floor plates were identical, requiring custom engineering for every panel. The complex three-dimensional curves demanded innovative structural glazing solutions that could accommodate the building movement while maintaining weathertight performance. Additionally, the project needed to meet stringent hurricane requirements despite the non-traditional geometry.

Our team developed a revolutionary parametric approach to curtain wall design, creating custom engineering solutions for each of the 1,200+ unique panels. We implemented advanced finite element analysis to model the complex stress patterns created by the twisting geometry. A comprehensive testing program included full-scale mockups of the most challenging transitions and custom performance testing protocols. We worked closely with the structural engineer to develop details that could accommodate the building dynamics.

Successfully delivered one of the most geometrically complex curtain wall systems ever constructed in Florida. All systems passed stringent testing requirements on first attempt, including hurricane performance and structural load testing. The project received international recognition for architectural innovation and has been featured in over 50 publications. After two hurricane seasons, the building envelope has performed flawlessly with zero reported issues.
